Judy Rowe has been in the beauty industry for over 20 years. She graduated from the prestigious Fame School of Nail Design and the Bennett Career Institute (BCI) of Washington, DC. While majoring in cosmetology at BCI she received additional training in makeup artistry from her mentor Danessa Myricks, and other elite makeup artists such as Reggie Wells, Sam Fine, Derrick Rutledge, and Dervelle Harris.
During her tenure in the industry her clients included T.V. One, Origins, Ressie Co. Media Pro, and Kiss Colors Cosmetics. And The Pantene Total You Tour and the For Sisters Only conferences in Washington, DC on behalf of BCI. Judy graduated from BCI at the top of her class receiving the salutatorian award and most talented makeup artist, just to name a couple of awards. She competed in the Golden Scissors Awards and won the Weave Master of the Year, and a runner up for Female Stylist and Makeup Artist of the Year. Judy is often asked to go on assignment for photoshoots, conventions, weddings, t.v., and films. Some of her work has appeared in many popular magazines. Her work can be found on the cover and inside the pages of the National Education Association's (NEA) flagship magazine NEA Today and NEA Today for Future Educators (formerly Tomorrow's Teachers), and inside the pages of Halcyon Kids, Hooligans Magazine, and several hair magazines. Judy has also written an article for NEA's magazine This Active Life, entitled, "Makeup in Retirement". Judy is an experienced artist in creating characters for TV, film, and stage plays, family portraits, and commercial/print. Judy has worked with multiple photographers and models across the country and was the key makeup artist for independent films "10-32" and "What Matters Most". A second key to stage play "Waldo's Place", and an assistant makeup artist for the stage play, "The Spirit in Charles Manor". Her brushes have graced the faces of recording artists Wayna, Claudette Ortiz, and gospel singing group Immeasurable. Judy is also a mentor and educator to other aspiring makeup artists and individuals learning to apply their own makeup.
